We have collaborated with our friends at SUN ‘n FUN and the fine folks at Lakeland Linder International Airport (LAL) to simplify your arrival process.

As You Plan Your Adventure…

If you are looking to fly your way to NAFI Summit 2023, be sure to do the following:

Step 1

Once you decide you are flying:

Email rfortier@flysnf.org your intent to fly, including estimated date and time of arrival, N number, and type of plane.

Step 2

When entering the pattern:

Advise Tower you are “NAFI”

Step 3

Upon landing:

Taxi into SNF using ramp and Gate 51

Note: SUN ‘n FUN will provide aircraft parking space that is gated and on grass. Pilots must bring their own tie-downs, as they will not be provided.

Located in the heart of Central Florida, Lakeland Linder International Airport (LAL) is perhaps one of the most dynamic airports in the nation playing host to a verity of aircraft including primary trainers, fighter jets, and transport category aircraft.

Best known as the home of the annual SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo, LAL is also home to several widely known organizations including the NOAA Hurricane Hunters, Amazon Air, Draken International, and the Aerospace Center for Excellence.

In 2022 alone LAL saw over 141,000 operations earning it the position of 22nd busiest airport in the State of Florida and 108th busiest airport in the United States. In fact, over 3,000 people come to work at one of LAL’s 65+ business and organizations that, when combined, generate over $1.5 billion dollars to the local economy annually.

Contributing to this activity is LAL’s stellar infrastructure and services including three runways (the longest being 8,500’), two FBOs, a CAT III Instrument Landing System (ILS), and 24/7/365 Air Traffic Control / Airport Operations / and Aircraft Rescuing Fire Fighting services.
